Teriyaki Steak Marinade

This is in the original cook book.

 

1 lb. flank steak (for two people)

1/2 cup soy sauce

6 Tbs. honey

4 Tbs. wine vinegar

1 Tbs. powdered ginger

1 tsp. garlic powder or one clove garlic, crushed

4 coarsely chopped green onions, including green stems

1 1/2 cups salad oil or canola oil

 

In a blender combine soy sauce, honey. vinegar, ginger, garlic, and onions.  Blend well.  While motor is running, slowly drizzle in the oil.

Marinate meat for 12-24 hours.  Grill each side 6-8 minutes.  Slice in thin, diagonal strips.
