Seasoned French Bread

Another option instead of the traditional garlic bread.
THE Olive Bread
In original cook book. This was on the wish list when we came home from college!
Cranberry-Orange Bread with Grand Marnier Glaze
I found this in the December 2006 issue of Sunset magazine and made it as Christmas gifts. The next year I made something else for gifts, and a few made it clear they had been looking forward to The Cranberry Bread! Freezes well wrapped tightly and placed in zip-lock bag. EBB
Cranberry Orange Bread
This is in the original cook book. Jane and Ellen made this over Thanksgiving break in Beaverton their first year of teaching. Ellen was fogged in for an extra day. From Oregon she had to arrange for a sub by phone for two days until she could get back to classes in Boise! … the “olden days” decades before cell phones and email!!!
Banana Bread
This was in the original cook book. It is Marien’s via Lorna Horton.
Dilly Casserole Bread (Ellen)
This recipe is also in the original cook book.
The first time I had this bread, I was a guest with Aunt Bertie at a lunch in the home of her friend, Agda Beaman. She served it with French Onion Soup and Ceasar Salad. It was wonderful!!!
Zucchini Bread (Marien)
This was in the original family cook book.
Carl Anderson’s Scones
Carl and his family are good friends here in Caldwell. He is a wonderful cook! He sometimes calls to say he has some “extra” scones fresh from the oven which he will be bringing over. Such a treat!!
