Banana Bread

one loaf

1 1/2 cups sugar

1/2 cup melted butter

2 eggs

3 bananas, crushed

1/4 cup sour milk

2 cups flour, sifted

1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

1. Blend the sugar, melted butter and eggs, crushed bananas, and milk.  Set aside.

2. Sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. Gently stir together the liquid and dry ingredients until just moist.  Fold in the nuts.

4. Pour batter into a well-greased loaf pan.  Bake at 350 for one hour.
